Casanova-Warrenton Pony Club (CWPC), geographically centered around our fundraising and land preservation partner (Great Meadow Foundation, The Plains, Fauquier County) is part of the Virginia Region of United States Pony Clubs, Inc. and the United States Pony Clubs, Inc (USPC).  USPC is the world's largest equine educational organization.

Sportsmanship, Stewardship, Leadership Through Horsemanship

CWPC develops character, leadership, self-confidence, good judgment, responsibility and a sense of community through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.  Through mounted and unmounted education, we help build a "well-rounded" individual capable of riding safely and expertly on the flat, over fences, and in the open.  The Pony Club Horse Management program is designed to assist members in becoming knowledgeable about the care of horses and ponies.

CWPC is open to anyone interested in learning more about horse management and riding.

Drawn by our activities, opportunities and our participation levels, our members come from all over northern Virginia (Fauquier, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Culpeper counties, Arlington/Alexandria), West Virginia, and Maryland. The current CWPC membership of approximately 50 Youth and Adult Members and Sponsors plan, organize, and participate in a full calendar of events.   Mounted and Unmounted lessons and activities foster friendships and are hosted at central locations in Loudoun and Fauquier counties.  Regional Rallies throughout the year provide an opportunity for teamwork and competition with other Virginia clubs with the opportunity to qualify for USPC Championships

CWPC Members participate in a variety of disciplines:

Dressage, Eventing, Show Jumping, Mounted Games, Tetrathalon, Quiz, Vaulting, Foxhunting and Polocrosse.
